Jessica M. Hawthorne has been hired as youth program coordinator at the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities, an organization that works with schools, businesses and communities to achieve success through inclusion. In her role, she conducts diversity and inclusion programs for middle school, high school and college students across the Commonwealth. Hawthorne has particular responsibility for VCIC’s assemblies, one-day youth forums and multi-day student retreats.

Todd Weinstein has joined the Richmond office of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer as a senior vice president in the Capital Markets Group. He will lead the multifamily advisory division for the Central Virginia and Hampton Roads markets. Weinstein has over 10 years of experience specializing in multifamily investment sales and has been directly involved in multifamily dispositions totaling more than $3 billion during his career. He graduated from the University of Virginia and has an MBA from Vanderbilt University.

Popular Short Pump spot offers upscale comfort, flavors
The Wine Loft opened in West Broad Village in January 2010, offering a full bar with wine, beer, spirits and a kitchen with tapas-style snacks. It offers a seasonal patio area along Whittall Way. Its walk-in wine “humidor” in plain view from the bar offers more than 85 wines by the glass ($6-$65) and about 250 by the bottle ($28 and up), with some emphasis on Italian wines.
