Jessica M. Hawthorne has been hired as youth program coordinator at the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities, an organization that works with schools, businesses and communities to achieve success through inclusion. In her role, she conducts diversity and inclusion programs for middle school, high school and college students across the Commonwealth. Hawthorne has particular responsibility for VCIC’s assemblies, one-day youth forums and multi-day student retreats.
Todd Weinstein has joined the Richmond office of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer as a senior vice president in the Capital Markets Group. He will lead the multifamily advisory division for the Central Virginia and Hampton Roads markets. Weinstein has over 10 years of experience specializing in multifamily investment sales and has been directly involved in multifamily dispositions totaling more than $3 billion during his career. He graduated from the University of Virginia and has an MBA from Vanderbilt University.
Agents with Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer recently handled the following lease negotiations: Fastenal Company – renewed its lease of 4,800 square feet at 4811 Bethlehem Rd.; 2SpeakDog – leased 3,000 square feet at 7320 Capehart Rd.; Unitek Companies – renewed its lease of 2,912 square feet in Wistar Center at 8101-8157 Staples Mill Rd.; Direct General Corporation – leased 2,200 square feet at 4501 W. Broad St.; and Apollo’s Flame Baked Pizza – leased 1,200 square feet in Short Pump Crossing Center at 3324 Pump Rd.

The camp will be held June 17-23, and is open to boys and girls ages 9-13. A total of 10 spaces for boys and 27 spaces for girls remain available, and registration is open until May 24. Tran’s Pho 1 Grill will serve Vietnamese fare
Paul Tran, along with his wife Ellen will open up Pho 1 Grill, a Vietnamese restaurant, in June in the Towne Center West Shopping Center.
Tran has been serving up Vietnamese food since the mid-’80s, his first being Que Huong on Rigsby Road. He also owned Mr. Chan’s on Horsepen Road and Saigon Gourmet on Hull Street Road. > Read more.
