![]() The Greater Richmond Chamber has announced the finalists for the 25th annual Impact Awards. This year for the first time, two companies will win an Impact Award, one each in the small and large business categories. Finalists are: large business - Care Advantage, Inc., Dominion Digital and Health Diagnostic Laboratory, Inc.; and small business – Holiday Barn Pet Resorts, Midas of Richmond and Richmond Flying Squirrels. The Impact Award recognizes local businesses that have made an impact on the Richmond area economy and community, as well as its employees and industry. Winners will be announced at a celebration dinner on Nov. 7 at the Richmond Marriott. The event is open to the public. During a celebration Sept. 12, Wawa recognized the VCU Massey Cancer Center with a donation of $19,524.26 *** Advance Auto Parts, Inc. has opened its 14th store in the Richmond area at 1532 N. Parham Rd. near Regency Square Mall. Nicholas Fetty, a 12-year veteran of the automotive and retail sales industries, will be the new general manager. He has been with Advance Auto Parts for nine years and he will work with 10 other team members. The store is open from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Henrico Junior 4-H camp registration open

For parents looking to keep their kids outside and away from the video games this summer, the Virginia Cooperative Extension is still accepting registrations for the 2013 Henrico Junior 4-H Camp.
The camp will be held June 17-23, and is open to boys and girls ages 9-13. A total of 10 spaces for boys and 27 spaces for girls remain available, and registration is open until May 24. The cost is $230, which includes lodging, meals, programs, instructional materials and charter bus transportation. > Read more.
