![]() The Greater Richmond Chamber has announced the finalists for the 25th annual Impact Awards. This year for the first time, two companies will win an Impact Award, one each in the small and large business categories. Finalists are: large business - Care Advantage, Inc., Dominion Digital and Health Diagnostic Laboratory, Inc.; and small business – Holiday Barn Pet Resorts, Midas of Richmond and Richmond Flying Squirrels. The Impact Award recognizes local businesses that have made an impact on the Richmond area economy and community, as well as its employees and industry. Winners will be announced at a celebration dinner on Nov. 7 at the Richmond Marriott. The event is open to the public. During a celebration Sept. 12, Wawa recognized the VCU Massey Cancer Center with a donation of $19,524.26 *** Advance Auto Parts, Inc. has opened its 14th store in the Richmond area at 1532 N. Parham Rd. near Regency Square Mall. Nicholas Fetty, a 12-year veteran of the automotive and retail sales industries, will be the new general manager. He has been with Advance Auto Parts for nine years and he will work with 10 other team members. The store is open from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Fan Care offers heat relief to seniors

Qualifying senior citizens can receive free relief from summer heat through the 23rd annual Fan Care program, which provides fans and cooling assistance to seniors 60 and older in need.
