Available as a free download from the iTunes store, ThankYouPro combines the convenience and speed of mobile technology with the personal touch of a handwritten card by enabling users to create and mail a paper thank-you note in less than a minute. A real card is printed and mailed with a first class stamp with guaranteed mailing within 24 business hours. Users can choose from more than 20 card designs and a variety of handwriting font styles and colors. Krispy Kreme Richmond, 4910 W. Broad St., will reopen after a 40-day interior renovation project at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4. The store closed its shop to interior store sales, but continued to serve its customers via the drive-through as the 13-year old location underwent its first major remodel since opening in 1999. Guests will notice a fresher, brighter color scheme with new floors, paint and décor that highlights its popular doughnut theatre and product display case based on the designs Krispy Kreme is incorporating into all of its newly built shops. Entrust Financial Credit Union in Richmond recently was honored with a Diamond Award, which recognizes outstanding marketing and business development achievements in the credit union industry. Entrust Financial CU won the Complete Campaign category for its entry entitled “Knock Down Your High Rate.” For the promotion, Entrust Financial CU offered to beat your vehicle loan rate – if they couldn’t beat it, you received a $50 Visa gift card. The refinancing campaign yielded the credit union triple the amount of vehicle loans from the previous year and since then has yet to give out a gift card. Virginia Tech’s Center for Public Administration and Policy-Richmond will host a graduate school information session on Tuesday, April 17 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Virginia Tech Richmond Center, 2810 N. Parham Rd., Suite 300. The session will discuss the Center’s two part-time, evening programs: the Master of Public Administration and the Graduate Certificate in Local Government Management. The Master of Public Administration (MPA) is a professional degree intended to train early and mid-career individuals with the skills needed for positions involving policy, management, or executive responsibilities in public and not-for-profit settings. The Graduate Certificate in Local Government Management is meant to be the first step in an ongoing process to ensure that there are master’s level courses available to prepare the next generation of local government managers in the Commonwealth.
