I-64 Repaving Project Schedule Updated

VDOT today announced the scheduled for next week's repaving work on I-64 in Henrico County. (Work has stopped for the weekend because of the NASCAR races at Richmond International Raceway today and tomorrow.) The following lane closures are expected to cause delays from Sept. 13-17. Road work is subject to change depending on inclement weather.
I-64 west There will be alternating double lane closures on I-64 west between the I-95 Bryan Park interchange (mile marker 186) and Parham Road (mile marker 181) from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sept 13-17. I-64 east There will be alternating lane closures on I-64 east between Broad Street/Glenside Drive (mile marker 183) and the I-95 Bryan Park interchange (mile marker 186) from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sept. 13-17. Ramp work The ramp from Staples Mill Road west to I-64 east will be closed Sept. 13-17 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. The ramp from I-64 west to Broad Street/Glenside Drive west will be closed Sept. 13-17 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. The ramp from I-64 west to Broad Street east will be closed Sept. 13-17 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. There will be alternating ramp closures on and off I-64 east to Broad Street/Glenside Drive Sept. 13-17 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. |

Henrico Junior 4-H camp registration open

For parents looking to keep their kids outside and away from the video games this summer, the Virginia Cooperative Extension is still accepting registrations for the 2013 Henrico Junior 4-H Camp.
The camp will be held June 17-23, and is open to boys and girls ages 9-13. A total of 10 spaces for boys and 27 spaces for girls remain available, and registration is open until May 24. The cost is $230, which includes lodging, meals, programs, instructional materials and charter bus transportation. > Read more.
