Safe Harbor hosts open house

Safe Harbor held a community open house Sept. 20 to highlight the agency’s work throughout Henrico County. Representatives from the agency’s programs were available to answer questions about Safe Harbor’s work supporting survivors of sexual and domestic violence and promoting healthy relationships in the community.

Reynolds CC to host sculptor Paul DiPasquale

Reynolds Community College will host Richmond sculptor Paul DiPasquale Sept. 28 as he shares his presentation “Art Talk, Why Art Matters” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Conference Center Gallery of the Workforce Development and Conference Center on the Parham Road Campus, located at 1651 E. Free children’s clothing for those in need

The Children's Clothing Closet at Highland Springs United Methodist Church will be open Saturday, Aug. 27 and Tuesday, Aug. 30 to provide free new or nearly new children's clothing for families in need, prior to the start of the school year. CAT Theatre announces cast of ‘Wishing Well’

Directory Zachary Owen this week announced the cast for CAT Theatre's production of the comedy Wishing Well, which will run Jan. 20 through Feb. 4.

RTCC nominee Jacqueline Jones (Quartet, All My Sons, The Dixie Swim Club) will return to the CAT stage as the matriarch of the Cauthen family. In keeping with CAT's mission to provide opportunities for local artists, the group will welcome four new actors to the stage: Kerrigan Sullivan (head of the John Tyler Community College Theatre Program) will play Callie Quayle; Rachel Dilliplane will play Cindy Cauthen; Arik Cullen will play Dennis Quayle; and Jonel Jones will play Richard Smalls. > Read more.
