Business in brief

Fresh Coat Painters has expanded into Virginia and the franchise is owned by Christy Cooper and based out of Glen Allen. After more than a decade in pharmaceutical sales, Cooper sought a business opportunity that better suited her creative spirit and busy lifestyle as a minister’s wife and mother of four. Fresh Coat has connections to national accounts such as Sherwin-Williams and professional painters are hired as employees, not subcontractors.
