Henrico County Public Schools received high marks on recently conducted stakeholder surveys. When grading HCPS, 87 percent of parents gave Henrico County Public Schools a grade of A or B.

All middle and high school students, parents, staff, and a sampling of local businesses provided feedback on a range of topics including school quality and climate, effectiveness of communication, engagement in learning, and development of positive relationships.

Henrico County Public Schools used surveys provided by the National Center for School Leadership and added customized questions for students, staff and parents. HCPS developed a personalized survey for businesses. The surveys were provided online to students and staff and in paper format to parents and businesses. Analysis of the results is an ongoing process at district-wide and school-wide levels and a summary report will be shared during the Community Priorities Workshop on May 3rd.
