First Things First of Greater Richmond to host Father Figure event at RIR’s Torque Club

First Things First of Greater Richmond will host its first marquee fundraising event at Richmond International Raceway’s Torque Club from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Father Figure event, presented by 37th Parallel Properties and NBC12 News, will promote the organization's mission to encourage fathers to be active in the lives of their children, raise funds to support its fatherhood initiatives and honor dads making a difference in their families and the Richmond community. Richmond Fertility Workshop 2016 planned at the University of Richmond

The Richmond Fertility Workshop 2016, an educational workshop for couples and individuals faced with the challenges of infertility, will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Jepson Alumni Center at the University of Richmond. Speakers and breakout sessions will cover topics such as assisted reproductive technologies, third party reproduction, funding fertility treatments, finding support, male-factor infertility, pregnancy loss and more. Sister Hazel members Ken Block, Drew Copeland to perform at The Tin Pan

Ken Block and Drew Copeland, best known as two of the five members of the platinum-selling southern rock band Sister Hazel, will perform at 8 p.m. at The Tin Pan, 8982 Quioccasin Rd. This intimate, acoustic show is in support of their new album, “Lighter In The Dark,” that topped Billboard charts.
