CAT Theatre will present “Wishing Well” Jan. 20 through Feb. 4 at 319 N. Wilkinson Rd. in Henrico. CAT’s 2017 entry into the Acts of Faith Festival, “Wishing Well” is a contemporary comedy about mother-daughter revelations during one stormy weekend in North Carolina that puts the “fun” in dysfunctional. The 9 Songwriter Series to perform at The Tin Pan

The 9 will perform at 7:30 p.m. at The Tin Pan, 8982 Quioccasin Rd. Founded in 2008 by singer/songwriter Justin Trawick, The 9 Songwriter Series was created with the idea of artists getting together and combining their talents in order to play in nicer clubs and to larger amounts of people. Alzheimer’s Assoc. to host support group meeting at St. Mary’s Hospital

Each month, the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Richmond Chapter conducts support group meetings to provide the community with an opportunity to meet for mutual support and to exchange coping skills. Lula Belle Bookshoppe, which recently opened in Lakeside, will host a Spiritual Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. featuring intuitive readers, mediums, a palm reader, reiki healers and a massage therapist. The shop, owned by Jane Mills, offers a variety of items, including books, stones and crystals, candles, oils, jewelry, local crafts, artwork, wind chimes, kites and more. The Bad to the Bone Blues Bash returns to the Henrico Theatre from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with three new bands. Headlining the event is the acclaimed Forrest McDonald Band, winners of the 2015 and 2016 River City Blues Society International Blues Challenge. McDonald has released a dozen albums and has recorded with music giants such as Bob Seger, Bobby Womack, Eddie Van Halen, Steve Perry and Ray Charles. Also performing are Andrew Alli and the Mainline and the Urban-Hill Band, lead by blues guitarists and vocalists Paul Urban and Lathan “Pudgee” Hill.
