Lewis Ginter to present Flowers After 5 on Thursday evenings through September

Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden will present Flowers After 5 on Thursday evenings through September. Stroll through the gardens and enjoy live music from Whiskey Rebellion, as well as family activities, wine and beer, dining and shopping. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. The Garden partners with the Richmond SPCA on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month for Fidos After 5 where leashed pets are allowed. Admission is $8 to $13 or free for members. Meadow Farm Museum’s “Saturday Live” to feature “Children’s Toys & Games”

Meadow Farm Museum will host “Saturday Live” from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the first Saturday of the month through the summer. Enjoy an afternoon of interactive, living history demonstrations as you explore this mid-19th century farm. Today’s topic is “Children’s Toys & Games.” Admission is free. The Senior Film Series at Sandston Library continues from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. with “Theremin” (1993, PG, 85 minutes). The movie is based on the book, “Us conductors: in which I seek the heart of Clara Rockmore, my one true love, finest theremin player the world will ever know: a novel” by Sean Michaels.
