Jewish Family Theatre to present “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” March 1-11

Jewish Family Theatre will present “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” March 1-11 at the Weinstein Jewish Community Center. Set to an engaging cornucopia of musical styles, from country-western and calypso to bubble gum rock and rock ‘n roll, this Old Testament tale emerges both timely and timeless. Enjoy dinner with the show on March 8. Tickets are $20 for JCC members, $30 for nonmembers and $15 for seniors and students. Henrico PAL’s annual awards banquet

Henrico Police Athletic League (PAL) will hold its eighth-annual awards banquet March 30 at Glen Allen H.S. The event, which begins at 6:30 p.m., is open to the public and will include recognition of individuals and organizations responsible for Henrico PAL’s 10 years of success in the community. Keynote speaker for the event is the new University of Richmond Spiders Head Football Coach Russ Huseman. National PAL Executive Director Joseph Persichini and former Henrico PAL and 2011 National PAL Youth of the Year winner Aubrey Temple are also scheduled to speak. The WAY in Sandston to hold first Easter Grand Gathering

The WAY, located at 2 E. Williamsburg Rd. in Sandston, will hold its first Easter Grand Gathering event from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a yard sale, vendor sale, bake sale, community lunch with hamburgers and hot dogs, music and silent auction. Kid’s activities starting at 11 a.m. include games, bounce house, arts and crafts, Easter egg hunts, face painting and more. Open to the community. Proceeds benefit The WAY. Varina, Mehfoud ES’ PTA to host ‘We’ve Got Talent Show’ at Varina HS

The Varina and Mehfoud elementary schools' PTA will host a "We’ve Got Talent Show" at 6:30 p.m. at Varina High School, 7053 Messer Rd. The Master of Ceremony is B-Sounds from 106.5 - The Beat. Performances include Steven and his dog Button, Fairfield Middle School Divine Destiny Step team, Varina High School Divine Devilettes Dance team, Ms. Cat (an HCPS bus driver), the Elko Middle School Strings Band, Jump Starz jump-rope team and more.
