Henrico Dept of Community Revitalization to offer Home Repair and Maintenance workshop

The Henrico County Department of Community Revitalization will offer a Home Repair and Maintenance workshop from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Eastern Government Center. Learn how to undertake minor repairs such as fixing water leaks, how to spot potential problems, maintaining your heating system and preparing your home for cold weather. There will be hands-on demonstrations and activities, as well as door prizes and light refreshments. The workshop is free. Henrico Theatre Company to present “Black Coffee” at CACGA Nov. 3-19

The Henrico Theatre Company will present “Black Coffee,” a mystery by Agatha Christie, Nov. 3-19 at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen. A physicist named Sir Claude Amory has come up with a formula for an atom bomb. He is poisoned (in his coffee, naturally) and Hercule Poirot is called in to solve the case. All performances are at 8 p.m. except for Sunday matinees which start at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors (55+) and students. “Going in Style” to play at Henrico Theatre Nov. 3-4
