The Weinstein JCC, in partnership with the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities, will present “Martin: His Life, His Love, His Legacy” at 3 p.m. The production, which was written by Richmonder Valerie Davis, explores the “real” life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., while also spotlighting the Jewish connection to the civil rights movement. A panel discussion follows the performance, moderated by VCIC President and CEO Jonathan Zur. Tickets are $15 for non-members and $10 for members. Modlin Center for the Arts at UR to present “Henry and Mudge”

The Modlin Center for the Arts at the University of Richmond will present Theatreworks USA’s production of “Henry and Mudge” on Sunday, May 1 at 3 p.m. in Alice Jepson Theatre. Moving from the city to a new house in the country can be tough. Just ask Henry, who can’t find a playmate in his new neighborhood. Luckily, he’s got Mudge, a great big, 182-pound canine buddy, with whom he can share all kinds of adventures! Based on the beloved children’s books by acclaimed author Cynthia Rylant. Mothers Against Drunk Driving will present its annual Walk Like MADD 5k Dash/Walk on Apr. 16 at Dorey Park, 2999 Darbytown Road. Check-in starts at 8 a.m. with the walk beginning at 9 a.m. Walk Like MADD honors those killed or injured in impaired driving crashes.
