The Autism Society of Central Virginia 5K Run/Walk will begin at 8 a.m. at the Snagajob Pavilion in Innsbrook, 4901 Lake Brook Dr. The family-friendly race includes entertainment, food, exhibitors and an expanded Kid’s Fun Zone with a 50-yard dash. Richmond Area Bicycling Association to host group ‘New Rider Ride’
June 01 2013 - The no-drop, beginner friendly ride will begin at Laurel Park Shopping Center, 8 a.m., Free
The Richmond Area Bicycling Association (RABA) will host a group “New Rider Ride” to assist new or returning cyclists in learning group ride safety and increasing fitness levels at 8 a.m. The no-drop, beginner friendly ride will begin at Laurel Park Shopping Center (Parham and Woodman roads), and travel 20 miles round trip, with a rest stop at Ashland Coffee and Tea. Veteran restaurateur set to open in Short Pump

Paul Tran, along with his wife Ellen will open up Pho 1 Grill, a Vietnamese restaurant, in June in the Towne Center West Shopping Center.
Tran has been serving up Vietnamese food since the mid-’80s, his first being Que Huong on Rigsby Road. He also owned Mr. Chan’s on Horsepen Road and Saigon Gourmet on Hull Street Road. > Read more.
