CSz Richmond Theater will present its 8th musical parody, “Refrain of the Jedi: May the Chorus Be With You,” with performances Nov. 19 through Dec. 20. Directed by Christine Walters, founder of ComedySportz Richmond, and Brandon Hagstrom, ComedySportz player and member since 2002, the show will be performed at CSz Richmond Theater, 8906-H West Broad St. Evening shows are for a mature audience, while the matinees are appropriate for all ages. Henrico Schools seeks budget input for FY 2016-17

Henrico County Public Schools is seeking input from interested members of the public on the FY 2016-17 HCPS budget.

The school division will develop a budget proposal using feedback from stakeholders. The proposal will then be made public in January, followed by an extensive public review process that is expected to last through April.

The celebration will begin with a countdown and a flip of the switch to turn on more than a half-million twinkling lights. After the illumination, enjoy strolls through the Garden, botanical decorations, model trains and family activities. Admission is $12 for adults, $11 for seniors 55+, $8 for children ages 3-12, free for children under age three, and free for Garden members. GardenFest runs through Jan. 11. This year’s theme is "H2Whoa," which showcases water in all its forms. Experience a dazzling 30-acre light and botanical display highlighting some of the many ways water surrounds us and shapes the world in which we live. Explore magical, whimsical re-imaginings of everyday water events. Stroll through twinkling “rainstorms” as crystal rain drops and fluffy storm clouds float overhead. The Rink to open at WBV Nov. 14

The grand opening of The Rink outdoor ice skating rink at West Broad Village will be held Saturday, Nov. 14, beginning at 11 a.m. with skating and family activities. At 4 p.m., grand opening festivities – featuring exhibitions of ice sculpting, ice skating and cheering, as well as fire pits, costumed characters, and food vendors – will begin.
