American Legion Post 125, located at 1401 Hilliard Rd., will hold a dance with a live band every Friday and Saturday from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Snacks and coffee are provided; drinks are available for purchase. He’s been known to release new songs directly to his online fan base. “Pictures” beautifully captures this emotive spontaneity. Snape, inspired by Instagram, wrote, recorded, shot, edited and released the “Pictures” recording and music clip in just two weeks. Labus’ most current and pressing project is the launch of her newest album, “People Are Staring,” which she is currently launching a Pledge Music Campaign to fund. The Innsbrook Foundation and Innsbrook Rotary will present the first Innsbrook Taste of Virginia, a food festival showcasing delicious dishes from local restaurants, each competing for the honorary “Taste of Virginia” title, as well as awards for other significant categories. The event starts at 3:30 p.m. with the tastings and competition from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and fireworks around 9:15 p.m. to end the day. There will also be a Kidzone with two moon bounces, vendors and live music. Proceeds support FeedMore. Rain date is July 3. Henrico County Recreation and Parks will present “Red, White, and Lights” at Meadow Farm Museum/Crump Park. The free event begins at 4:30 p.m. and will feature the Richmond Symphony, a laser-light show, patriotic performances, and family activities. A Henrico County 4th of July Celebration has taken place annually since 1981, but this year’s event will offer a later start time, expanded hours, and be highlighted by new entertainment. The Richmond Symphony and laser-light show will mark the finale of the event. The symphony will perform under “The Big Tent,” a state-of-the-art mobile stage that allows the orchestra to take its music out into the local communities.
