"Gambling and Astrology" by David Shipman is the focus of a workshop sponsored by the Richmond Chapter of the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR) at 1 p.m. at the Weinstein JCC. Shipman will examine how using the gambler's natural intuition and the skillful application of astrological timing can increase the chances of success in speculative activities, such as making major decisions, betting on sports events, playing at casinos, and more. He will discuss traditional and modern techniques, as well as practical handicaps to tip the scales in one's favor. Admission is $15 to $20.
