St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, 9801 Fort King Rd., will host a Fall Children’s Consignment Sale from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Gently used children’s clothing, Halloween costumes, gear, toys and more will be on sale. Items will be half-off from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit St. Andrew’s Kidz Kupboard, which provides weekend meals to families in need. The Short Pump Ruritan Club's 26th annual Craft Show will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Short Pump Middle School, 4701 Pouncey Tract Rd. More than 70 crafters will be participating featuring a variety of items, including handmade watches, dolls, floral arrangements, wreaths, jewelry, purses, fall and holiday décor, dog collars and clothes, baked goods, pottery, original artwork and more. Free children’s clothing for those in need

The Children's Clothing Closet at Highland Springs United Methodist Church will be open Saturday, Aug. 27 and Tuesday, Aug. 30 to provide free new or nearly new children's clothing for families in need, prior to the start of the school year.
