The Modlin Center for the Arts at the University of Richmond will stream National Theatre Live’s “Of Mice and Men” at 7:30 p.m. in Camp Concert Hall, Booker Hall of Music. The performance stars Golden Globe winner and Academy Award nominee James Franco (127 Hours, Milk) and Tony Award nominee Chris O’Dowd (Bridesmaids, Girls). NT Live brings the best of British theatre direct from the stages of London to movie theatres around the world. An encore broadcast is scheduled for Nov. 16. Tickets are $7 to $14. The Modlin Center for the Arts at the University of Richmond will broadcast Pathe Live’s Bolshoi Ballet’s production of “The Pharaoh’s Daughter” at 7:30 p.m. in Camp Concert Hall, Booker Hall of Music. The plot of this lavish production is loosely based on Théophile Gauthier’s novel “Le Roman de la Momie.” Pathe Live's Bolshoi Ballet program brings the best Bolshoi Ballet productions direct from Moscow to cinemas and performing arts centers across the U.S. Tickets are $7 to $14. On Saturday, Nov. 15, the Willow Lawn location will kick off the month-long program by hosting a "Make & Take" craft event for kids. Children ages six and older will be able to make a craft and take it home with them. Representatives from the Marines will be in-store to teach customers about the Toys for Tots program. A.C.
