Knights of Columbus Council 395 to hold a Brunswick Stew sale

The Knights of Columbus Council 395 will hold a Brunswick Stew sale from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Columbian Center, 2324 Pump Rd. Cost is $8 for one quart and $15 for two quarts; additional quarts are $7.50 each. The proceeds will benefit the Council’s charitable projects. To preorder, call Tom Giannasi at 355-3866.
The St. Jude ‘Give Thanks. Walk.’ 5k to take place in Innsbrook

The St. Jude “Give Thanks. Walk.” will start at 10 a.m. at the North Shore Commons Lawn in Innsbrook, 4991 Lake Brook Dr. This family-friendly 5k walk helps to raise money to support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. On Saturday, Nov. 15, the Willow Lawn location will kick off the month-long program by hosting a "Make & Take" craft event for kids. Children ages six and older will be able to make a craft and take it home with them. Representatives from the Marines will be in-store to teach customers about the Toys for Tots program. A.C.
