Wegmans exhibits open April 30 at CMoR
April 30 2016 - , 9:30 a.m.,
All Richmond-area Children’s Museum of Richmond locations will unveil their newly-renovated grocery store exhibits on Saturday.
A Wegmans gift of $150,000, comprised of cash and in-kind donations, has allowed the museum to renovate its grocery store exhibits and will support CMoR’s 35th anniversary. The refreshed stores will offer pint-sized shoppers a true Wegmans shopping experience complete with play foods, mini grocery carts, check-out counters, and café tables, offering just a "little" taste of what's to come when Wegmans opens their Short Pump and Midlothian locations later this year.
Those arriving between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. will receive goodie bags filled with healthy, kid-friendly foods, while supplies last. In addition, they will have an opportunity to register for an exclusive VIP meet-and-greet with Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer when she visits CMoR’s Central location on Saturday, May 7.
