2016 Greater Richmond Holistic Expo planned at Richmond Raceway Complex

The 2016 Greater Richmond Holistic Expo, the first large-scale holistic expo in nearly two decades, will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Richmond Raceway Complex. Nourish the mind, body, soul and emotions in a friendly, professional and supportive environment. More than 150 holistic exhibitors selling jewelry, supplements, music, books, clothing, educational courses, body alignment evaluations and more will be in attendance. Richmond Brain Aneurysm, Stroke and AVM Support Group to meet

The Richmond Brain Aneurysm, Stroke and AVM Support Group meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Evelyn D. Reinhart Guest House, a guest house run by Bon Secours at 1100 Libbie Ave. Survivors are not required to have been treated at a Bon Secours hospital. Walking MADD


Mothers Against Drunk Driving will present its annual Walk Like MADD 5k Dash/Walk on Apr. 16 at Dorey Park, 2999 Darbytown Road. Check-in starts at 8 a.m. with the walk beginning at 9 a.m. Walk Like MADD honors those killed or injured in impaired driving crashes. FamFest planned for April 9


Henrico's Division of Recreation & Parks will host FamFest from 1 p.m. 4 p.m. Saturday, April 9 at Deep Run Park.

The family event will begin with a giant ball drop and will feature colossal obstacle courses and mega-moon bounces as well as family "minute to win it" games and friendly competitions. Watch as the nationally-renowned Air Elite Dunkers leap their way into spring in the gym or get your groove on with music from Trademark or the dance troupe Future Shock. > Read more.
