Breath Matters, a lung disease support group, will hold its holiday luncheon at 12:45 p.m. in Kraus Auditorium at Chippenham Medical Center, 7101 Jahnke Rd. The speaker will be Mike McMeniman from Aging in Place with Grace. Bring a dish to share. Breath Matters meets the second Monday of every month. There are new speakers and topics each month with free refreshments and valet parking. All meetings are recorded for those unable to attend. Henrico Co. to offer health screenings for ages 50+ at Dorey Rec Center

Henrico County will offer free blood pressure checks and cholesterol screenings for ages 50+ from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Dorey Recreation Center, 7200 Dorey Park Dr. To ensure accuracy, don’t eat breakfast before having cholesterol tested. Services are provided by Westport Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Call Cindy Spear at 243-9785 to make an appointment.
