Dogwood Wine Festival at Reynolds Crossing to benefit Wine for Cures

The Dogwood Wine Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Reynolds Crossing. The festival will include more than 100 local vendors, wineries, and family-friendly entertainment, including an 18-piece bossa nova band. Proceeds from the event will benefit Wine for Cures, a non-profit, all-volunteer organization that supports patients in chemotherapy, as well as specific research by organizations such as Massey and VCU Cancer Center. Wine for Cures was founded by Gil Miles, a four-time leukemia patient, to celebrate life and support those struggling in the day-to-day trials of chemotherapy.
