The West End Academy of Dance and Pilates, Dance and More have joined together to produce the much loved holiday classic, “The Nutcracker Sweet,” at 2 p.m. Dec. 10-11 at Deep Run High School, 4801 Twin Hickory Rd.

"The Nutcracker," a traditional ballet set in Victorian times was first staged in Russia in 1892. The new choreography in “The Nutcracker Sweet” retains the charm of the original production and sets it to magical music.
