Citizen Staff Reports 01/24/13
It's in the Bag, LINC's 7th annual live and silent handbag auction, will be held Feb. 7 from 6:30 - 9 p.m. at the new Snagajob headquarters in Innsbrook.
In addition to featuring more than 150 hand-crafted and designer bags – including evening clutches, Keen hiking pack, a golf bag, bags made from keyboard keys, the "Madmen" portable briefcase bar, hand crocheted bags, and designer Brighton, Coach and Louisbuton bags – this year's event will also provide craft beer tasting by Starr Hill Brewery, a “man” table with gift items for men, music, and food.
The It’s in the Bag event is the largest fundraiser of the year for LINC, an organization that eases the burden of cancer for patients and their families by providing assistance and referral to legal, financial and community resources.
VIP tickets, which allow early entry at 6:30 p.m., are available for $100, while general admission tickets ($75) allow entry at 7 p.m. For details and registration, visit http://cancerlinc.org.
