Program on Pocahontas, Rocke Hall at Henricus Nov. 5

Henricus Historical Park, 251 Henricus Park Rd. in Chester, will present “Pocahontas, Rocke Hall and the Powhatan People” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5. The program will feature Rocke Hall, home to Rev. Alexander Whitaker, who tutored Pocahontas at Henricus. Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with Sir Thomas Dale, John Rolfe and Rev. Alexander Whitaker. American Indian activities will include historical recreations of daily Virginia Indian life including rituals of the harvest season. Admission is free for gift club patrons, $8 for adults and $6 for children ages 3-12. The rain date is Nov. 6. For details, call 748-1613 or visit http://www.henricus.org
