Acappella group to perform at CACGA


Main Street Station Acappella will perform Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen, 2880 Mountain Rd. Main Street Station is a 16-member co-ed acappella group whose repertoire includes new hits, old favorites and everything in between. All are experienced musicians, many having participated heavily in different award-winning collegiate acappella groups during their continued educations.

The concert is part of CACGA’s 2nd Stage series, which highlights a different musical genre on the first Friday of each month.

There are a bunch of really fun and unique events happening this weekend! CAT Theatre will present “Murder at the Sock Hop,” an interactive murder mystery in which guests help solve the crime. St. Gertrude High School’s “Holly Spree on Stuart Avenue” is tomorrow and over 40 local vendors will be in attendance selling a variety of food, home and holiday items. CAT Theatre to present “Murder at the Sock Hop”


CAT Theatre will present Murder at the Sock Hop, an original, interactive murder mystery in which guests help solve the crime, Saturday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m.

It's the happiest night of the football season. The CATS have won their homecoming game and are ready to gather in the high school gym to celebrate and crown the homecoming queen. But just when guests think the crepe paper streamers couldn't be more magical or the punch be more punchier something sinister strikes and there's a dead body on the dance floor.

“It’s a dance, it’s theater, and it’s a great bit of fun," Director Mike Fletcher said. "Guests get to participate in character and help figure out who dunnit.”
