Workforce Hero Moves In

Tim Lukhard (center), who with his wife Joy is Parham Estate’s newest homeowner, was officially welcomed into the neighborhood Nov. 10 with a housewarming gift from Carter Snipes (left) and Annie Snipes of Snipes Preferred Properties. A firefighter, Lukhard was able to take advantage of special “workforce hero” closing cost incentives that were the subject of a 2009 Henrico Citizen story about affordable housing innovations. The Lukhards, former residents of Knollingwood, are enjoying their home’s location a block from Jackson Davis E.S., where daughter Bailey can walk to her second-grade class.
