The Mill House, a clubhouse for survivors of brain injury, will host the third annual Mill House Pig Out BBQ Fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 7812 Shrader Rd. Individual platters are $10 and include a pulled pork sandwich, cole slaw, baked beans and a drink; cornbread dessert is $1 extra. Virginia Repertory Theatre will perform “Young Thomas Jefferson” at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Oct. 20 and at 2 p.m. Oct. 21 at the Willow Lawn location, 1601 Willow Lawn Dr. The musical, part of the Children’s Theatre of Virginia season, follows Thomas Jefferson from his birth in Virginia through his writing of the Declaration of Independence.
