![]() AUGUST 31 The Butterflies LIVE exhibit continues through October 14 at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, 1800 Lakeside Ave. Visitors will be able to walk among hundreds of butterflies in the North Wing of the Conservatory. The exhibit will also feature special plantings to provide food for the butterflies, allowing visitors to get an up-close view of the showy tropical species. The exhibit is included with garden admission. Fan Care offers heat relief to seniors

Qualifying senior citizens can receive free relief from summer heat through the 23rd annual Fan Care program, which provides fans and cooling assistance to seniors 60 and older in need.
The program is an initiative of Senior Connections, The Capital Area Agency on Aging for seniors who meet income eligibility requirements and have a situation that threatens their health. > Read more.
