Brides Against Breast Cancer, a nationwide tour of gowns to benefit those impacted by cancer, will hold a charity designer wedding gown sale Aug. 17-18 at Omni Richmond Hotel, 100 S. 12th St. There will be more than 1,000 gowns for sale with savings between 25-85 percent. The third annual GWAR-B-Q will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Hadad’s Lake, 7900 Osborne Tnpk. in Varina.
