Henrico County’s annual Kite Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Dorey Park, 2999 Darbytown Rd. The event, hosted by the Richmond Air Force Kite Club, will feature kite flying demonstrations, exhibits, contests and games and live family entertainment provided by Henrico County Public Schools and local band Sky Run. In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Amtrak, America's Railroad® is offering the public an opportunity to view an Exhibit Train, a unique traveling display showcasing the railroad's history, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 3-4 at Amtrak’s Staples Mill Road station.
