Henrico Theatre Company will present three one-act plays featuring the winners of the annual HTC Playwriting Competition from Feb. 10-26 at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen, 2880 Mountain Rd. The winning titles are “Four and Twenty Wretched Dates,” A State of Being Normal” and “#4 Three Gables Run.” Performance times are 8 p.m. except for Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m. An additional performance will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students. The 27th annual Richmond Camping RV Expo will be held from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Richmond Raceway Complex, 600 E. Laburnum Ave. Dave Solberg, RV expert and author of “The RV Handbook” will present seminars throughout the weekend on topics such as RV buying, driving and towing, as well as a Handyman Series on refrigerators and generators. The 2nd annual Bluegrass Invitational Concert and Benefit will be held from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hatcher Memorial Baptist Church, 2300 Dumbarton Rd. Featured artists include Code Blue, Milford Station, Copper Ridge, One Lane Bridge, Old Dogs – New Tricks and Homeward Bound. Members of the Richmond Men’s Chorus and Richmond Women’s Chorus will present the Valentine’s Cabaret at 8 p.m. at Richmond Triangle Players Theatre, 1300 Altamont Ave. The concert will feature solos, duets and ensembles from members of the choruses singing Broadway, pop, standards and country hits. The Children's Clothing Closet at Highland Springs United Methodist Church will be open Saturday, Aug. 27 and Tuesday, Aug. 30 to provide free new or nearly new children's clothing for families in need, prior to the start of the school year. It’s a great weekend to get outside! The Pocahontas Chapter of the Virginia Native Plant Society is offering two events this weekend. Accompany the group to find and document native plants present and blooming in Echo Lake Park on Saturday or take a “Sunday Stroll” at Dorey Park to observe the seasonal changes taking place. Other outdoor events this weekend include the final summer concert at West Broad Village and “Fridays on the Patio” at James River Cellars Winery in Glen Allen.
