![]() JANUARY 20 Barksdale Theatre will present “Always…Patsy Cline” through April 29 at Hanover Tavern, 13181 Hanover Courthouse Rd. The show is a tribute to legendary country singer Patsy Cline who died at age 30 in a plane crash in 1963. It includes many of Cline’s hits such as “Crazy,” “I Fall to Pieces,” “Sweet Dreams” and “Walking After Midnight.” The show is part of the 2012 Acts of Faith Festival. Tickets are $38 for adults, $35 for seniors and $19 for ages 18 and under. The exhibit displays original art by James River Art League members including oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolors and mixed media. River-related art will be offered for sale and members of the Friends of the James River Park will be available with information about FOJRP. Admission is free. Proceeds from the cash bar will benefit Henrico CASA, who will also be hosting a silent auction. The musical is a warm and witty observation of what really goes on in the hearts and minds of people as they participate in a church service. The production is part of the 2012 Acts of Faith Festival. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for youth and are only available at the door. Proceeds will benefit CARITAS. For details, call 328-4491. *** The Center Season at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen, 2880 Mountain Rd., continues at 7 p.m. with “An Evening with Mark Twain.” The performance is an insightful and humorous re-creation of a lecture that the world famous author would have given during his highly acclaimed work tour culminating in 1905. Tours will take place at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. The excursion will feature local wildlife and 17th-century through modern day history at Henricus and Dutch Gap. Fan Care offers heat relief to seniors

Qualifying senior citizens can receive free relief from summer heat through the 23rd annual Fan Care program, which provides fans and cooling assistance to seniors 60 and older in need.
The program is an initiative of Senior Connections, The Capital Area Agency on Aging for seniors who meet income eligibility requirements and have a situation that threatens their health. > Read more.
