‘Stilettoes Stomping Cancer’ shop night planned Sunday

Care Advantage, Inc. and Stein Mart are sponsoring a shop night fundraiser to raise money for the American Cancer Society’s Cure by Design. The ‘Stilettoes Stomping Cancer’ shop night will be held Sunday, Oct. 7 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Stein Mart location in Short Pump.
There will be live music and entertainment, hors d’oeuvres, giveaways, door prizes and more. Attendees will also gain fashion and styling tips and discounts while shopping for the perfect outfit to wear to Cure by Design, another American Cancer Society fundraiser. Cure by Design is a fashion show, auction and reception fundraiser being held on Oct. 27 at the John Marshall Ballroom. For more information, visit http://www.curebydesign.org . Henrico Junior 4-H camp registration open

For parents looking to keep their kids outside and away from the video games this summer, the Virginia Cooperative Extension is still accepting registrations for the 2013 Henrico Junior 4-H Camp.
The camp will be held June 17-23, and is open to boys and girls ages 9-13. A total of 10 spaces for boys and 27 spaces for girls remain available, and registration is open until May 24. The cost is $230, which includes lodging, meals, programs, instructional materials and charter bus transportation. > Read more.
