Reunion planned for Henrico HS’s first 4 classes

In honor of their 45th reunion, the Henrico High School class of 1967 will host a celebration on Sept. 29 at the Torque Club at Richmond International Raceway. The theme is "Fifty Years of Friendship" to commemorate the opening of Henrico High School in 1962. An invitation has been extended to the HHS classes of '65, '66 and '68 to join the party. The Modlin Center for the Arts at the University of Richmond will present banjoist Noam Pikelny at 7:30 p.m. in Camp Concert Hall, Booker Hall of Music. Pikelny is a founding member of Punch Brothers, a string ensemble. In September of 2010, he was awarded the first annual Steve Martin Prize for Excellence in Banjo and Bluegrass. Pikelny is a three-time Grammy Award Nominee. His next album, the purely solo endeavor “Universal Favorite” is released this month. Tickets are $32.
