Native colors on display

Native American performers displayed their colors during the 21st annual Great American Indian Exposition Pow-Wow and Show at The Showplace in Henrico Nov. 9-11. The event featured more than 200 dancers, singers, drummers and artisans representing more than 100 tribes. It opened with a parade of nations in honor of November, Native American month. Attendees also had the opportunity to dine on Native American foods, such as buffalo stew and Indian tacos.
