Anthem LemonAid returns this weekend

The 10th anniversary of Anthem LemonAid will take place throughout this coming weekend (July 15-17) at multiple locations in Henrico County and in the metro Richmond region, including Panera Bread, Sam’s Club, Walmart and Arby’s. Cups are $1.

In the past nine summers, more than $630,000 has been raised for pediatric healthcare in Central Virginia. All proceeds benefit the Hematology & Oncology Department at Children’s Hospital of Richmond, the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

More than 65,000 adults in the Richmond metro area cannot read well enough to function in today’s society. The READ Center helps adults with low literacy skills (in Richmond, Henrico and Chesterfield) develop reading and communication skills through classroom and one-to-one tutoring.
