Allen & Allen seeking Hometown Heroes nominations

The personal injury law firm of Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen recently announced that it is seeking nominations for its annual Hometown Heroes award. The award, which was formed in 2010 to honor the firm's centennial anniversary, is designed to applaud local hometown heroes that give back to their community on a daily basis.

"The annual Hometown Heroes award is Allen and Allen's way of celebrating Virginians doing good things for others. Our firm was founded on service and we gain tremendous motivation from those in the community around us, the real heroes," said Douglas A. Barry, president.

Nominations will be accepted through May 25 at http://www.allenandallen.com/hometown-heroes Fift.y winners will be announced in late June. Finalists will be honored at a series of award events taking place in Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Charlottesville.

"We've witnessed firsthand the everyday heroism found in our community and want to say thank you. Allen and Allen welcomes the community to join us in celebrating the local heroes in their community," said R. Clayton Allen, partner.

The Wine Loft opened in West Broad Village in January 2010, offering a full bar with wine, beer, spirits and a kitchen with tapas-style snacks. It offers a seasonal patio area along Whittall Way.
