Knitters unite at Cedarfield

The “Knitters of Cedarfield” made their annual donation of handmade caps to the Henrico Christmas Mother Dec. 3 at The Hermitage at Cedarfield, presenting 130 knitted caps to be used by needy families. Among the Christmas Mothers on hand to accept the donation and thank the knitters were Mitty Sledd (1975), Sue Trimmer (1998), Bonnie Abernathy (2011), and Terry Brady (2012). The presentation was followed by a program of holiday music, courtesy of the Greater Richmond Chorus.
