The 6th annual 2012 Boomer Ball will be held from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Hotel John Marshall, 101 N. Fifth St. Disco will be the theme and disco attire is welcome. The Richmond Triangle Players will present the central Virginia premiere of “bare,” a pop opera, at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the RTP Theatre, 1300 Altamont Ave. The story focuses on two gay high school students and their struggles at their private, Catholic boarding school. “bare” will be presented as a concert reading. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students. A special brunch bar menu will be available at the early show. At 9 p.m. the Ghost Light After Party returns with the friendliest cabaret show in town. Special guests include Robyn O’Neil, Robert Throckmorton and Joseph Papa.
