‘Scouting for Food’ Underway

Last weekend, more than 10,000 Boy Scouts and volunteers dropped off specially marked grocery bags to thousands of Central Virginia homes for the 23rd annual “Scouting For Food” drive to benefit hungry neighbors in the region.

Canned goods (no glass or perishables) may be donated and the bags left out on Saturday, Nov. 6 for pick up by the Scouts.

The donated food will be distributed by the Central Virginia Food Bank during the holidays to hungry families, children and homebound senior adults.

The Innsbrook Executives’ Breakfast Series continues at 7:15 a.m. at the Richmond Marriott Short Pump, 4240 Dominion Blvd. The breakfast will showcase three local women entrepreneurs: Deanna Hatthaway with Hathaway Adair, Tawanda Johnson with RKL Resources P.C. and Michelle Brumfield with Bedcrafters by Michelle.
