Description: Henrico County will hold its monthly sale of unclaimed, forfeited and surplus property on Oct. 3 (Henrico residents and taxpayers) and Oct. 4 (general public) from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 4323 Carolina Ave. Items for sale generally include office furniture, supplies and old computer equipment. The Secret Sisters to perform at The Tin Pan

Four equality organizations are partnering to host a Virginia House of Delegates candidate forum at 6:30 p.m. at Ridge Elementary School. Equality Virginia, the Log Cabin Republicans – VA Chapter, the Richmond Business Alliance, and the Virginia Equality Bar Association will host the event for candidates seeking office in House of Delegates Districts 68, 72 and 73, each of which contains a portion of Henrico County. Participating candidates will give opening and closing statements and respond to questions on the issues of jobs and the economy, healthcare, LGBTQ equality and education.
