Description: The Henrico Teen Theatre Company will present “Simply Cinderella” at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Aug. 2-5 at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen. Overworked Cinderella swings her broom at the Fairy Godmother, thinking she’s a giant moth. Meanwhile, the Queen wants the Prince to choose a suitable bride, but he would rather play video games than dance with a girl. Admission is free. To reserve a seat, call 501-5859.

Lewis Ginter to present Flowers After 5 on Thursday evenings through September

Description: Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden will present Flowers After 5 on Thursday evenings through September. Stroll through the gardens and enjoy live music from Trio na Bossa, as well as family activities, wine and beer, dining and shopping. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. The Garden partners with the Richmond SPCA on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month for Fidos After 5 where leashed pets are allowed. Admission is $8 to $13 or free for members. Description: Innsbrook After Hours continues its 32nd year with 80s tribute band Rubix Kube. The band is able to crank out pop, rock, new wave, dance and hair metal hits from the decade of decadence and perform them just like the originals – yet with their own gnarly twist. Gates open at 5 p.m. Show begins at 6 p.m. Tickets start at $10. Net proceeds from the concert series benefit the American Constitution Spirit Foundation and the Innsbrook Foundation. Rain or shine.
