Description: The Summer Nature Series at Three Lakes Nature Center, 400 Sausiluta Dr., continues with “Mega-Monsters – Dinosaurs” from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Nature center staff will open the classroom doors to visitors and share a variety of items from the nature collections. Description: Virginia Repertory Theatre will present a musical retelling of the beloved American story “The Little Engine That Could” July 7-30 at The Children’s Theatre at Willow Lawn. The classic family tale of determination and perseverance is reimagined through the heartwarming relationship between a young girl and her grandfather. Description: SPARC’s SummerStarz Touring Ensemble will present “James and the Giant Peach Jr.” at several venues throughout the Richmond region including two in Henrico County: July 24 – The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen at 7 p.m.; and July 26 – Regency Square Mall at 12 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Based on the beloved book by Roald Dahl.
