Football coach Latrell Scott to speak at Innsbrook Executives’ Breakfast Series

Description: The Innsbrook Executives’ Breakfast Series continues at 7:15 a.m. at the Richmond Marriott Short Pump, 4240 Dominion Blvd. Latrell Scott, Norfolk State University’s head football coach, will be the speaker. Scott, who previously coached at University of Richmond and Virginia State University, will present “Building a Culture in Football and Business.” Cost is $25 to $30. Description: A free music camp will take place July 18-20 at Corinth United Methodist Church, 23 W. Williamsburg Rd. Students in grades 3-6 will learn hand drumming techniques and explore rhythms and world music through the playing of the cajon, a box drum. Class size is limited. Description: The Henrico County Division of Fire and Henrico Area Mental Health & Developmental Services (MH/DS) will present a free class on how to administer naloxone to potentially save the life of someone who has overdosed on opioids. The Revive! Opioid Overdose and Naloxone Education for Virginia class will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the MH/DS offices at 4825 S. Laburnum Ave. The class is open to the public and will provide hands-on instruction on how to administer the drug in its nasal spray form. Participation will be limited to the first 50 registrants.
