The Richmond Raceway Complex has two exciting, albeit very different, events taking place this weekend: the Richmond Antique Extravaganza Show and Sale and Discover the Dinosaurs Unleashed. The holidays are coming to an end but there is still time to see the Latin Ballet of Virginia’s 17th anniversary performance of “The Legend of The Poinsettia” – taking place this weekend at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen. It’s the Weekend Top 10: New Year’s Eve edition! If you’re looking for ways to celebrate the New Year with the kiddos, check out the Children’s Museum of Richmond – all locations will be hosting a Noon Year’s Eve celebration, complete with juice box toast. Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden will host its annual New Year’s Eve Family Frolic where you can take part in the yearly tradition of “rolling in the New Year” by rolling down the hill to the Cochrane Rose Garden. For a more adult celebration, The Tin Pan will present its New Year’s Eve Bash featuring Elana Lisa & The Hot Mess, and Cindy Jennings and Thensome will perform at Rare Olde Times. If you aren’t rushing to finish your holiday shopping, check out the Richmond Funny Bone where Micah “Bam Bamm” White will be performing. Also tonight – NRBQ at The Tin Pan.
